Tests are performed with particle counters that are regularly standardised.

Tests can be performed in normal or degraded conditions ; for example with vibrations, to simulate the effects of an air conditioning device, or with an element that has been structurally damaged.

Tests are performed by qualified personnel, in cleanrooms and under laminar flow hoods.
